Hector González currently serves as Operations Officer of GES Mining, and CEO of Candelaria Mining Corp; he brings extensive exploration, permitting and mining experience. Hector and partners formed GES Mining in 2011 and this Consultancy has worked for several junior and major companies. Hector is specialized in Mineral Resources and Reserves Estimation, Operation and Management from Exploration to Mining Projects, Due Diligences, Financial and ESG. Since 2006 other previous leadership roles includes VP Exploration and Geological Manager with Skarn, CRD, LS, HS and Porphyry projects reaching the PEA, PFS, Feasibility and Comercial stages. Hector is a Geological Engineer by Universidad Autonoma de Chihuahua and graduated of the Lowell Program in Economic Geology of Arizona University.
Laura Jurado currently serves as Administrative Officer of GES Mining. She brings experience in business entrepreneurship and public relations. Laura Jurado is proficient in English and elementary in French. Laura has supported to GES Mining since 2011 working for several junior and major companies at Mexico. She is the creative mind behind 13 years of GES business identity and markets adaptation. She is very sensitive for environmental protection mainly the vulnerable animals. Laura is specialized in Public Relations, Social Communications, Marketing and Branding. Other previous leadership roles also include several Business Management from 2006 to Present, including, Beauty Studios, Convenience Stores and Marketing Agencies. Laura is a Designer by Universidad Autonoma de Chihuahua.
Mr. Olmedo is geologist with over 40 years of experiencie and a Qualified Person as defined by NI 43-101, SEC, JORC, and SAMREC codes. His experiencie includes a successfull track in mineral exploration, economical assessment and mineral commodities. He has a degree of Engineer in Geology from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and a Master of Science in Mineral Exploration from McGill University. Montreal, Canada. He's a registered Member in good standing of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy & Exploration Engineers (SME) USA , He has consulted several companies since 2004, as Equinox Gold, Glencore International, Candelaria Mining, Gold Group, Solaris Copper, Impact Silver and AMC Mining Consultants.
Mr. Mendívil is a geologist with extensive experience in multispectral remote sensing techniques, GIS, 3D modeling, mineral resources and mineral reserves. He has 27 years of experience working in senior and junrio mining companies. Since 2010, he has been a principal consultant at Geo Digital Imaging de México. He is also a Certified Geologist Associate of Seequent, serving as an expert instructor in Leapfrog and other Seequent softwares, providing training to international users. He has been a full-time academic at the UNAM Institute of Geology attached to the Northwest Regional Station and Professor at the ITESM Sonora Norte campus. He has participated as author and co-author in more than 17 peer-reviewed scientific publications.
Ivan Alvarado currently serves as Mine Planning and Scheduling Expert of GES Mining, also he is a Mine Planning Manager in a major mining company. Ivan brings extensive experience in Mine Planning, UG and Open Pit, LOM, OPEX, CAPEX, NSR, Ventilation, Surveying, Optimization, Mining Softwares as Vulcan or Datamine, etc. Ivan was trained in Mine Planning, Scheduling, LOM, Optimizing, Sequencing and Mineral Reserves Conversion at Chile and Peru. Other previous leadership roles also include the Mine Management of Don David, Yamana, Fresnillo, Panamerican Silver, Los Gatos and Dia Bras since 2003. Ivan is a Mining and Metalurgist Engineer and Topographic Engineer by Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua.
Alejandro Arteaga currently serves as Environmental and Hydrological Expert of GES Mining, also he is Director of SISTEC a Water Resources and Environmental Firm. Alejandro brings extensive experience in Water and Environmental Permitting, Hydraulics, Water Availability, Biodiversity Monitoring, Civil Geotechnical Advising, Pollution, EIA and Remediation of Contaminated Sites. Alejandro was trained in Geophysics, Hydrology and Environmental Sciences. Other previous leadership roles also include the Management of Remediation Contractors for PEMEX, CFE, CONAGUA and Dangerous Waste Disposal since 1999.
